At the age of 11, I was introduced into the horse world by my father. I started my journey learning to ride ponies at the local riding school in Ferring, England. I dreamed of becoming a jockey, but the dream was short lived. My height and weight wound up getting the best of me, so instead I was able to exercise the horses for trainers, and venture into other areas of the horse industry. Racing, Showjumping, Eventing, and Endurance were all areas I would be schooled on.

Just 2 miles up the road from my home in Worthing, England, was the Downs Racing Stable in Findon. This is where legendary 4 time champion jockey, and now Steeplechase trainer Josh Gifford, trained over 75 horses. At 14, I assisted by mucking out stalls, grooming horses, and tacking up the trainer's mount every morning. Josh's wife, the former Althea Roger-Smith was an international show jumper, and event rider, she would also teach me to ride, and educate me on all aspects of the showjummping and eventing world. Seeing my appetite to learn more, Josh Gifford enrolled me at the prestigious Riding academy located in Goodwood England. To fine tune my craft, former champion jockey, Johnny Gilbert and his staff were in charge of teaching young talent all aspects of the horse industry; from riding, grooming, equine anatomy and extensive horse care. I attended the academy for one year.

After leaving the academy, I returned back to Findon to work with Josh Gifford's mentor, world renowned trainer Captain Ryan Price. Although Captain Price had retired, he was still present at the stable on a daily basis. I would learn from an old master the true meaning of being a horseman. I would travel to horse sales with Captain Price and his longtime owners and learn the art of buying and selling horses.

Findon had some of the most accomplished horse trainers in the country. I teamed up with flat race horse trainer John Dunlop, who is one of the most successful trainers in the business and recently churned out his 3,000th winner. Here I would ride out a filly named 'I Want To Be,' and met her owner His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, crown prince of Dubai.

In April 1987, I moved to the United States of America. Within a matter of weeks my services were being utilized by Darby Dan farm, and trainer John Veitch. http://www.darbydan.com/aboutus/elitehorses.cfm I rode some of the best horses in the world; notably 1988 champion turf horse 'Sunshine Forever', 1988 Jim Dandy winner 'Brian's Time', and 1990 Yellow Ribbon winner 'Plenty of Grace'.

Im 1991 I teamed up with Peter Brants White Birch Farm in Greenwich Connecticut. There, I broke in yearlings, attended to injured horses , rode champion race horses including; 4 time Grade one winner 'Stella Madrid', and Carl Icahn's 1990 Breeder Cup Juvenile Fillies winner "Meadow Star". In 1994 at White Birch Farm, I was able to own, train and manage my own horses and the horses of my client's from the main barn. Aside from Racehorses, I would also purchase Jumpers, Hunters and Endurance horses for my clients.

In 1992, as the internet was in its infancy, along with two partners, I developed an online platform for the purchase and sale of horses of all breeds. The company, ‘Equine Listings International’ was acquired five years later.

I represent and advise a wide variety of clients throughout the world. I also can assist you in the sale of your horse and other services you may require.
